Beverly “Beam” Whynot, 91
WAREHAM - Beverly “Beam” Whynot, 91, passed away peacefully on February 17 at her home in Wareham, MA. She was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years Robert W. Whynot. She is survived by her loving partner, Donald Curran, her brother & spouse, William and Barbara Bettencourt, and her four children and their spouses, Jeffrey and Catherine Whynot, Heidi and David Sullivan, Bonnie Ellis and Craig Huntley, and Kimberly and Frank Boyle. Her pride and joy were her 11 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren who shared special bonds with their wonderful Beam.
Beverly was born in Watertown, MA to William and Madeline Bettencourt, and had one younger brother. She married Robert Whynot in 1956. Bev and Bob raised their children in Watertown before moving to West Falmouth, MA to share their seaside home with their growing family.
Beam had a bright smile and deeply loved her family. She found great enjoyment in her beautiful gardens and extended her caring heart and hands to anyone who could use her help. She will be buried with her husband at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne, MA. Funeral services will be private.
