Bebo’s Bar and Grill, located at 270 Onset Avenue, is holding its grand opening on Saturday, Dec. 16 in the form of a holiday party.

The location was once home to Stevie B’s Sports Bar, which closed in November 2021. Stevie B’s owner Stephen Beranger will be in attendance at the grand opening to give out the hundreds of Ireland license plates he collected through the years in exchange for a monetary donation to a food bank. 

According to Bebo’s owner Brant Boyington, the bar will also be accepting donations for Toys for Tots and the Free Masons coat drive.

Raffle tickets will be given to those who donate for a chance to win some small Christmas prizes. 

It’s an all day affair, but the party will get started around 7 p.m. when Beranger arrives with the license plates. The D.J. will arrive at 8 p.m.

Boyington said Beranger always did charity work for the community and he hopes to carry out that tradition with several events throughout the year.

Though this is Bebo’s grand opening, the bar has been open for a couple weeks. 

In that time Boyington said the community has been “fantastic.”

He added he is appreciative of the everyone’s support and acceptance of Bebo’s.
