Arrests for fraud

Nov 5, 2019

On Monday, October 28, at 10:00 p.m., Officers Nate Aronson and Joseph Cardoza arrested Michelle Burton, 32, of no certain address, an active warrant.  Burton will also be charged with identity fraud, because she had tried to obtain services from a local business using another person’s information. Officer Aronson recognized her and realized it was false information.

On Friday, November 1, at 2:48 p.m., Officers Stephen Harrison and Chris Corner arrested Earl A. Stewart IV, 29, of Pembroke, on Cranberry Highway near the police station following a vehicle stop. Harrison spotted Stewart in a car and knew there were four active warrants for his arrest. Stewart originally gave a false name to Officer Harrison, but admitted his real name when Corner arrived.
