Smith Mills Preschool and Kindergarten held their first ever Valentine’s Day themed Preschool Prom on Wednesday, February 12! The children and families danced to music by DJ Mike and participated in games like the limbo, conga line, musical hula hoop, and the floor is lava. There was also a treasure hunt with prizes and the children slow danced with their favorite Valentine.

With a lot of behind the scenes prep, the family night turned into an enormous success for the children and parents alike. The schools “big hall” was turned into the perfect prom venue. There was a photo op backdrop with a balloon arch, beverage table, and hanging decor made by the children.

Parent volunteers helped make this Valentine event a huge success, so much so, that we are already planning ahead for the next Preschool Prom.
