Yves Roux, Jr., 33

Nov 15, 2019

Yves Roux, Jr., 33, of West Wareham, died on November 8, 2019 at Brigham & Women’s Hospital, Boston.

Yves was a son, brother, father to four children with his longtime girlfriend, and a dear friend to many.

Yves enjoyed time spent with his kids, especially basketball with his daughter Jaylin, playing outside with his daughter Aaliyah, getting “Big boy” haircuts with his son Cameron, and spending  Saturdays with his youngest son Jordan.

Dad will miss him helping out with things even when he didn’t want to. Mom will miss their daily talks even if it ended in disagreement.

He was born and raised in West Wareham all his life. He was a graduate of Upper Cape Technical High School.

Yves “Big Yves” had the pleasure of working with family and friends as an electrician for Commercial Electrical Solutions in Bourne.

“Yvie” came into the world fighting and left the same way. If you knew him, you knew how much his family and children meant to him. His smile and hugs would have you coming back for more. He loved to crack jokes and have you belly laughing, busting out random dance moves, taking forever to get ready to go anywhere, always showed up late looking “Fresh to Death” smelling like  “Curve.” He enjoyed spending time with family and friends in his parent’s backyard, car shows with his brother, riding ATV’s and dirt bikes on the cranberry bogs, racing RC trucks, golf cart  adventures, and going to the gym. He was a huge fan of Michael Jordan and known for his sneaker collection. He gave big hugs, had a heart of gold, and his smile brightened any room. God had bigger plans for our super hero.

Survivors include his parents, Yves Roux, Sr. and Annette M. Lupo of West Wareham; longtime girlfriend, Charlene Fitzpatrick of Wareham; 4 children, Jaylin Roux, Aaliyah Roux, Cameron Roux and Jordan Roux of Wareham; a brother, Steeve Roux and his wife Theresa Roux of West Wareham; 2 sisters, Deanna Roux and his brother in law James Patterson Jr of Mattapoisett and Andrea Lupo and his brother in law Jeremy Hathaway of Wareham; Nieces Helena and Ava Simone Roux as well as many Aunts, Uncles and Cousins including his closest, Matthew Patterson and Corey Nunes.
