Wareham resident delivers Fitchburg State’s valedictory address

Wareham High School alumna Quinn Staley of West Wareham recently delivered Fitchburg State University’s valedictory address.

Staley, who graduated Wareham High School in 2015, spoke at the college’s 122nd commencement exercises, winter ceremony, on Friday, Dec. 21. Staley earned a degree in communications media. At Wareham High School, Staley stood out for her communication skills, winning a Buzzards Bay Coalition video contest as a student.

In addition to Staley, Wareham graduates included Kristin Behring, MBA business administration; Paula M. Kfoury, MED curriculum art and teaching.

Fitchburg State University enrolls 7,000 day and evening students in more than 50 programs of study. The university was established in 1894.
