Wareham Police arrest California fugitive

Wareham Police officers arrested a wanted fugitive from California on Sunday, Nov. 25, who was reported as having an “extensive criminal history of assaultive behavior,” which possibly posed a threat to the community, authorities say. 

Timothy Millet, 46, of Wareham, was arrested on an active warrant for violation of his parole on a robbery charge. According to reports, Wareham Police detectives were aware that Millet was in town and were actively searching for him.

Officers George Chandler and John Lacobucci found Millet on High Street around 10:30 a.m. on Sunday and took him into custody without incident.

Millet is charged with being a fugitive from justice on a court warrant. He was held without bail and transported to Wareham District Court on Nov. 26.
