Wareham Historical Society to host talk on George Washington’s Crossing of the Delaware

The Wareham Historical Society will host a discussion on a reenactment of George Washington’s Crossing of the Delaware on Monday, Jan. 21 in the Methodist Meeting House, 495 Main St., at 7 p.m.

The talk will be lead by Howard Smith of the Wareham Minutemen and Militia Companies Inc. and Chris MacDonald, Vice President of the Lafayette Durfee Historical Foundation, Inc.

Both Smith and MacDonald represented the Massachusetts 13th Continental Regiment for the reenactment of the Crossing of the Delaware on Dec. 9.

Refreshments will be served after the program and admission for members is free. Non-Members will be charged $2 to attend.
