The Wareham Garden Club’s first in-person meeting of the year will be Thursday, Sept. 9 at St. Patrick’s Church Hall (82 High St.)

The Garden Club “welcomes new members and invites anyone” to attend — particularly those who enjoy gardens and gardening, appreciate projects that beautify the town and have an interest in preserving and rejuvenating the environment.

The meeting will begin with designated “social time” at 9 a.m., and the general meeting will start at 9:30 a.m. After the meeting, there will be a slide show of members' gardens and a judged horticultural display. Email warehamgardenclubma@gmail.com for more information.
