A garage, boat and pickup truck were damaged in an early morning fire in Wareham on Wednesday, Sept. 12.

Wareham Fire Department officials reported that the blaze caused an estimated $70,000 in damages. The fire was reported at 12:44 a.m. at 8 Terry Lane West. One person was home at the time. Officials said the response included two engines, a ladder truck, three other department vehicles and 18 firefighters. One firefighter was injured, however, officials did not reveal the nature of the injury.

Crews cleared the scene 5:30 a.m. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
