A 19-year-old Carver man was killed at about 6:30 a.m. on Sunday on I-195 Eastbound before Exit 21.

Jack Quindley, who was driving Nissan with an 18-year-old male passenger from Carver, drove off the highway and hit the guardrail on the left side of the road. Both men got out of the car, which was partially in the left travel lane, to look at the damage.

A 2008 BMW, driven by a 51-year-old man from Hyannis, then struck the Nissan and Quindley.

All three men were transported to Tobey Hospital. Quindley died from his injuries. The other two men sustained minor injuries, according to State Police.

Both accidents remain under investigation.
