During Tuesday night’s meeting, Selectman Peter Teitelbaum said that several mosquitos in Massachusetts have tested positive for Eastern Equine Encephalitis (EEE). He urged everyone to wear mosquito repellent and long sleeves when outdoors at dawn or dusk or in a wet area.

Selectman Alan Slavin noted that July and August are the peak months for EEE.
