The Swifts Beach Improvement Association is hosting a number of events this summer. 

The list of events, all of which will be held at Voss Hall (38 Pleasant St.), is as follows: 

• Kids bingo on Friday nights starting at 7 p.m. Bingo will be held every Friday until Sept. 3.  

• Family bingo fundraiser for the Swifts Beach park rehabilitation project. The event — which will include raffle baskets and stickers — will begin at 7 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 1. 

• Build your own ice cream sundae events will be held on Saturday, Aug. 7, and Saturday, Sept. 4, beginning at 7 p.m. 

• The association’s annual Labor Day field races will be held Sunday, Sept. 5, beginning at 10 a.m. People ages 2 to 82 are invited to compete in the 50-yard dash, kangaroo races, 3-legged races, a mile run through the neighborhood and an egg toss. Prizes will be available for winners of the races.
