Stanley A. Stonefield Jr., 88, passed away on Monday, December 6^th, in Myrtle Beach, SC.

He grew up in Onset, MA, eldest of the eight children of the late Stanley and Mary (Mosher) Stonefield. Survivors include the love of his life, Teresita Matro Stonefield; his siblings, Peter and Elaine NG of San Ramon, CA; Shirley Vigliano of Vero Beach, FL; Joyce Tatarian of Attleboro, MA; J. Michael Stonefield and his wife, Deborah, of Myrtle Beach, SC; T. Edward Stonefield and his wife Antoinette of Bedford, NH; his sister-in-law, Anne Stonefield of Plymouth, MA; the Matro in-laws, Celia, Violeta, Yolanda and Fernando; and numerous nieces and nephews. Stanley was predeceased by his brother Richard and sister Mary Jane Hassett.

Stanley attended Wareham High School, class of 1952, and was a veteran of the United States Air Force, after which he attended Central State College, Edmund, OK. He was a member of the Myrtle Beach Elks and the Knights of Columbus.

Stanley enjoyed golfing, fishing and spending time with friends. But most of all he loved traveling the world with his wife, being near the ocean and spending time with all his nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life Mass will be held on Saturday, May 21 at 11:00am at St. Mary by the Sea, Onset, MA.
