Re’chaun Alavache is the September Scotty Monteiro Jr. Award Winner at Wareham Middle School. 

“Re’chaun is a role model student that embodies being a responsible, respectful, and thoughtful student,” said the school. “He is inclusive and supportive of all his peers and he is always striving to do his best.”

Re’chaun is described as “a remarkably respectful young man” who is cooperative and actively participates in his classes. 

“He is Viking Strong and we are proud to call him a Wareham Middle School student,” the school said.

The Scotty Monteiro Jr. Foundation’s cause is “Stopping the Violence” through education and awareness and rewarding excellent students.
