Scott Allen Johnson, 55, of Wareham, died Dec. 8 at home unexpectedly.  He was the son of the late Samuel Therrell Johnson and Ellen Rosella (Morris) Mohrmann.

He was born in Crestview, Florida and lived in Wareham for several years.

Mr. Johnson was a talented artist and enjoyed painting.

Survivors include his daughters, Deanna Marie Johnson of E. Ryegate, Vermont and Kirsty Tay Hill and her husband Taylor of St. Johnsbury, Vermont; 3 brothers, Samuel Grady Johnson of Middleboro, Joseph Morris Johnson of Pocasset, and Robert Douglas Mohrmann of Nampa, Idaho; a sister, Diane Alicia Davis of Rockland; 4 grandchildren, Kelly Ann Hill, Hazel Louise Hill, Dylan Robert Lacasse and Gavin William Lacasse.

A celebration of his life will be held from 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. for family and from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. for friends on Thursday, Dec. 13, 2018 in Wareham-New Bedford Lodge of Elks, 2855 Cranberry Hwy., (Rte.28), Wareham.
