Ruth A. (Stenzel) Vaughn, 85, of Bourne, formerly of Wareham and Middleboro, died on Tuesday, November 3, 2020 at Royal Cape Cod Nursing Home in Buzzards Bay. She was the wife of the late Howard R. Vaughn.

Born in Könickbrück, Germany, she was the daughter of the late Erwin and Martha (Schmidt) Stenzel. Mrs. Vaughn worked as clerk for the Town of Wareham, Town Accountant. She was also a member of the Emblem Club in Middleboro.

She is survived by her sister, Gisela Geerk of Germany, and several nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by her brother, the late Güntar Stenzel and her sister, the late Ursula Potschien.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, November 13, 2020 at the Mass. National Cemetery, Bourne at 10:30 a.m.
