WAREHAM – Robert C. Pierce, Sr., 72, of Wareham, passed away on October 3, 2022 while surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of the late Anne (McDonagh) Pierce and the son of the late John D. and Helen M. (Fleming) Pierce.

He was born in Two Dot, Montana and lived in Wareham for 45 years. He graduated from Park County High School in Livingston, MT.

Mr. Pierce worked as a Fish Inspector for the USDA in New Bedford for 45 years before retiring in 2013.

He enjoyed playing solitaire, discussing politics, and scratching lottery tickets. Above all else he loved his family, and being surrounded by them laughing, having a good time and creating memories.

Survivors include his son, Robert C. Pierce, Jr. and his wife, Lindsay of Wareham; 2 daughters, Jacqueline A. Pierce and her fiancé, Michael Johnson of Carver and Stacey Just and her husband Scott of Berkley; a sister, Dorothy Juhnke of Livingston, MT; 4 grandchildren, Andrew and Nick Just, M.J. and Mason Johnson.

Visiting hours are from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 15, 2022 at Chapman Funerals & Cremations – WAREHAM, 2599 Cranberry Hwy., Wareham, followed by a funeral service at 3:00 p.m.
