Police have made several arrests recently.

On July 2, officers responded to a report of a disturbance at about 8:40 p.m. at the corner of Maple Spring Road and Agawam Lake Shore Drives. They arrested Joseph Paul, 27, of Carver, for disturbing the peace.

On July 3, a detective spotted a man who the detective knew did not have a driver’s license driving in the Onset center area. The detective stopped the car, but the driver, Peter G. Rezendes IV, 32, of Marion, drove off before the detective could approach his car.

Rezendes drove to Camp Street and swerved around a cruiser. The detective then ended the pursuit because Rezendes was allegedly driving excessively fast.

Several minutes later, the detective was told Rezendes could be found at the back of Shenanigans Bar and Grill. Rezendes was arrested and charged with operating after revocation, failure to stop for police, reckless operation of a motor vehicle, and speeding.
