Police offer online reporting option for non-emergencies

Jun 1, 2020

The Wareham Police Department is now offering an online option for reporting non-emergency incidents.

According to the department’s Facebook page an example of a non-emergency incident would be “a relatively minor crime that did not just occur and a suspect is not still in the area” such as when items are stolen from a car overnight, and the owner finds out the next morning.

Those who are unsure if an incident is appropriate to report online have been instructed to ask the police department by calling 508-295-1212.
