Wareham Police responded to a raucous party at a home on East Central Avenue at about 11:30 p.m. on Friday night, confiscated several firearms and arrested one young woman.

According to police logs, more than thirty people were present — many of whom left as police arrived. 

A number of Wareham police officers responded as did police from Marion, Bourne, Plymouth and the county sheriff’s department. 

One woman reported a man with a firearm. Police found two firearms outside the home, with an additional firearm lodged in a fence.

One 21-year-old woman from East Wareham was arrested for disorderly conduct and assault and battery on a police officer.
