The 17th Annual Onset Cape Verdean Festival will be held Saturday, August 10th from 12:00 to 6:00 pm in Onset, MA.  In case of rain, the festival will be held on Sunday, August 11. 

The festival will be held on the bluffs of Onset. 

Parking is extremely limited in the village, but will be available at Hines Field, Lopes Field, and the VFW for $10. A FREE shuttle is provided to the festival site from 11:00am- 7:00 pm.

The free festival will feature food vendors serving traditional Cape Verdean and American food and desserts, and vendors selling Cape Verdean products. Those interested in becoming a non-food vendor may call Mike Roderick at 508-789-8726.

Live entertainment will kick off at 12:00 and continue until 6:00.  This year, the program will feature Milton and Friends, Luisa Oliveira and the 911 Band, and Carla Ribeiro.
