The Onset Bay Association is working towards its goal of doubling memberships in both the Family and Business categories this year. 

Onset Bay Association is a non-profit civic corporation created to enhance the quality of life in the Onset Village area. The Association organizes and promotes cultural and beautification activities that take place throughout the year in Onset Village, including: Summer of Love Music Series, Onset Blues Festival, Illumination Night, Beautification Committee, Kayak Poker Run & Boat Show, Family Fun Days, Onset-Wareham Fireworks, and many more. 

For a $35 a year, a Family Membership comes with a variety of perks, including discounts at retailers and on tickets to Onset Bay Association events, including a free Onset sticker, 10 percent off any service to first-time clients at Tarra Dean’s, one free yoga class at Ebb and Flow, 10 percent off a purchase at the Onset Bay Association office and early access to tickets for popular events, including the Canal Cruise.

For a $100 a year, a Business Membership entitles the business to all of the above and also Facebook and Newsletter shout-outs and other cross-promotions. 

Each member, whether family or business, who joins or renews the Association between now and the end of September will be entered into a drawing for their choice of: An Onset Bay Association t-shirt, Onset Bay Association mug and a tote bag or unframed print of Old Onset. Email onsetbaymembers@gmail.com with the heading "OBA membership drawing” to enter the drawing. The drawing will take place on Friday, October 1.

Money from the memberships will be used to pay for the next year’s fireworks, to fund almost all the other programs in the Association's current budget, and increase the salary of Kat Jones, the Onset Bay Association Executive Director.  

One does not have to be an Onset resident to become an Onset Bay Association member. 

Membership dues can be paid online through onsetvillage60383.wildapricot.org or by check, which must be sent to Onset Bay Association, P.O. Box 799, Onset, MA 02558-0799 or dropped off at the Association office at 196 Onset Ave., between Marc Anthony’s and Nana’s, Wednesday through Friday, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
