Wareham Middle School has announced its students of the month for September.

The fifth grader of the month is Jordyn Elwood, the daughter of Craig Elwood and Rebecca Amaral.

Jordyn’s teachers describe her as a “model student” who is consistent and thoughtful in her work and always participates in class discussions.
“Jordyn is a detail-oriented, thoughtful artist! Her work is thorough and creative,” said another teacher. “Jordyn has the ability to keep the assigned criteria in mind while expressing her personal sense of creativity.”

Anthony Salerno, the son of Brittani Kailher, is the sixth grader of the month. One of his teachers described him as “a delightful breath of fresh air,” and added that he is patient and always smiling and doing his best.

“Anthony has been working very hard during remote learning,” said another teacher, who said Anthony’s work is high quality. “We are very proud of all of his efforts! Keep it up Anthony!”

The seventh grader of the month is Jessica McNulty, the daughter of Kevin and Terri McNulty. Jessica’s teachers praise her work ethic, conscientiousness, and enthusiasm for learning.

“She is respectful, kind, and has a radiant personality,” said one teacher. Another said Jessica stood out from the crowd right away.
