Manuel F. “Jay” Gomes, Jr., 66, of Wareham, died April 8, 2021 at home. He was the son of Margaret N. “Mawie” (Neves) Gomes and the late Manuel F. “Lallie” Gomes, Sr.

He was born in Wareham and lived there all of his life. He graduated from Wareham High School and attended Cape Cod Community College.

Survivors include his mother, Margaret N. “Mawie” (Neves) Gomes of Wareham; a daughter, Cheree Hill of Acworth, GA; a brother, Leroy Gomes of France; two grandchildren, Cayla Mason and Terrence Hill, Jr.; many nephews, nieces and cousins. 

His funeral is being held privately.

Donations in his memory may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
