Mabel P. Rose, 93, of Wareham, died Friday, September 18, 2020 at Tobey Hospital in Wareham. She was the wife of the late Joseph D. Rose.

Born in Wareham, she was the daughter of the late John and Kathleen (Payne) Monteiro.  A lifelong resident of Wareham, Mrs. Rose worked as a private housekeeper.

Mrs. Rose is survived by many loving nieces, nephews, and grand nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by her siblings, the late John Monteiro, Albert Monteiro, Pauline Pina, Camelia Silva, and Lillian Barboza.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit on Tues., Sept. 22, 2020 at the Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 2599 Cranberry Hwy. (Rt. 28), Wareham from 5 to 7 p.m.  (Appropriate COVID-19 protocol will be observed including the use of face masks and social distancing.)  Funeral services and burial on Wednesday will be private.
