WAREHAM – Louise D. Buchanan, 85, of W. Wareham, died Saturday, February 4, 2023 at Tobey Hospital in Wareham.

Born in Brockton, she was the daughter of the late William and Louise (Picard) McClintock. She lived in Brockton for most of her life and was at one time, crowned “Miss Ward 5” of Brockton. She worked at Goddard Medical Associates in Brockton for many years, and moved to Wareham 20 years ago.

She enjoyed spending time on Nantucket.

She is survived by her children, Laurie Lawrence and her husband Albert of Onset, Michael Buchanan and his wife Trisha of Bridgewater and Linda DeSisto and her husband Joel; her grandchildren, Albie Lawrence, Sean Lawrence, Megan Buchanan, and Lauren Buchanan; her great grandchildren, Reagan Lawrence, Taylor Lawrence, Declan Buchanan, Julian Duggan, Serafina Duggan, Brizeida Mera, and Cristian Mera. She was predeceased by her grandchildren, the late Danny Duggan and Shannah Duggan.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit on Friday, February 10, 2023 at Chapman Funerals and Cremations – Wareham, 2599 Cranberry Hwy. (Rt. 28), Wareham from 4:00 – 5:00pm, followed by a memorial service at 5:00pm.
