Livia Monroe

Livia T. Monroe, of West Wareham, formerly of Millis died Sunday, Jan. 13 at Wareham Healthcare Center in Wareham. She was the wife of the late Richard Monroe.

Born in Milford, she was the daughter of the late Carlo and Teresa (Prestini) Brovelli. Raised in Millis, she graduated from Millis High School and was class president. She worked for GAF in Millis before moving to Wareham where she worked for Tobey Hospital until her retirement.

She was an avid bowler and was a member of local bowling leagues.

Survivors include her brother, Vasco Brovelli of Holliston; her sister, Doris Crichton of Foxboro; her niece, Andrea J. DeSousa of Las Vegas, and many other nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and friends.  She is also survived by her dear friends, Judy Ford and Sally Signoriello, and the loving extended Monroe family.

Her funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, Jan. 18, at St. Thomas Church, 82 Exchange St., Millis at 10:30 a.m. Interment will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Millis. Visiting hours have been omitted.
