SPECIAL DISTRICT MEETING

To the Constables of the Town of Wareham:

Greetings:

In the name of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, you are hereby directed to notify and warn the legal voters of the Wareham Fire District, Wareham, Massachusetts, qualified to vote in Fire District affairs to meet at Wareham Fire Department, Station 2, 2368 Cranberry Highway, West Wareham, Massachusetts on Thursday evening, January 13, 2022 at 6:00 p.m. to act on the following article:

Article 1: To choose by ballot a moderator to preside at said meeting

Article 2: Appropriation of Bond Premium

To see if the District will vote to appropriate Bond Premium in the amount of $2,492.04 received from the Rescue Truck Bond Issuance dated November 19, 2018, to fund costs associated with the acquisition of a new Pumper/Tanker, or to act anything thereon, or thereunto

Explanation: The Wareham Fire Department has been awarded an Assistance to Firefighter Grant in the amount of $409,090.91 for the purchase of a new Pumper Tanker. The appropriation of Bond Premium will be used to fund costs associated with the acquisition of this piece of equipment.

Favorable Action: 5-0-0

Article 3: Pumper/Tanker Acquisition

To see if the District will vote to transfer from available funds the sum of $11,396.44 for costs associated with the acquisition of a new Pumper/Tanker Fire Truck including the payment of all costs incidental and related thereto, and to offset this amount by transferring from the following accounts or to act thereon, or thereunto
