Police have apprehended a juvenile who allegedly physically accosted a woman walking with her baby on 11th Street near Waban Avenue at about 10:15 a.m. on Sunday.

During the course of her walk, she observed the male on East Boulevard. A few moments later, when she was near Waban Avenue, the male came up from behind her and physically accosted her by pulling her pants down before running away. Acting quickly, the woman was able to take a picture of him running away.

The suspect was described to be in his late teens, 5’10” to 6’ tall, stocky muscular build, about 200 lbs, with short reddish brown hair. He was wearing a short sleeve blue athletic shirt, long black athletic pants, and sneakers with a distinctive white bottom with a wide black stripe across the sole.

The victim was uninjured.

Police asked for the public’s help finding the suspect. That afternoon, Officer James White remembered an individual he had recently dealt with who fit that description. With the assistance of detectives, the suspect was interviewed and placed under arrest. The juvenile is charged with indecent assault and battery and accosting another person.
