Juliette (Baptista) Roderick, 74, of Wareham, died March 4, 2020 at Tobey Hospital. She was the wife of Julio P. “Rod” Roderick, Jr. they were happily married for 50 years. She was the daughter of the late James F. & Elvira L. “Bebe” (Lopes) Baptista.

Mrs. Roderick was born in Wareham and lived there most of her life. She graduated Wareham High School in 1964.

She volunteered and was employed during various assignments while an Air Force wife in Germany and throughout the United States. She worked as a Home Health Aide for over 10 years for Preferred Home Services. 

Mrs. Roderick was a life member of the Dudley Brown Post 2846 VFW Auxiliary. She enjoyed sewing quilts, crocheting, knitting and crafts. 

Survivors include her husband, Julio P. “Rod” Roderick, Jr. a son, Paul J. Roderick and his wife Missy of North Carolina; a daughter, Erika Boston and her husband Nelson of North Carolina; and 3 grandchildren, Janessa, Brendon, and  Jaiclyn. 2 sisters-in-law, Nancy Roderick of Onset and Betty Roderick of Carver; 2 brothers in-law, Michael Roderick of W. Wareham and Jonathan Roderick of Onset; several nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by her late brother, Charles Baptista and late sister, Velma Huffman

Visiting hours are from 5 to 8 p.m. on Friday, March 6, 2020 at the Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 2599 Cranberry Hwy., Wareham.

Her funeral will be held at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 7, 2020 from the funeral home, followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. in St. Patrick’s Church, 82 High St., Wareham.

Burial will follow in St. Patrick’s Cemetery., Wareham.
