John A. Dellea, passed away on Sunday, Oct. 14. He was the former husband of the late Madeleine (Masse) Dellea. 

 

Born in Medford, a son of the late John and Marie (Dentone) Dellea.

 

Mr. Dellea was a veteran of the United States Navy. He attended MIT and graduated from Boston College. Mr. Dellea had worked as a Professional Engineer for many years.  He enjoyed farming and gardening. 

 

He is survived by two daughters, Susan Dellea of Sandwich and Catherine Polis of Shrewsbury; 3 sons, Andrew Dellea of Franklin, Daniel Dellea of Buzzards Bay and Joseph Dellea of San Francisco, California; 6 grandchildren and a great grandson. He was the father of the late John Dellea and brother of the late Eleanor and Marie Dellea. 

 

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Service at noon on Saturday, Oct. 27 at the Nickerson-Bourne Funeral Home 40 MacArthur Blvd., Bourne, MA. Burial is private. Visitation prior to funeral service 10 a.m. to noon.
