Job fair for election workers

The Human Resource’s Office, on behalf of the Town Clerk’s Office, is hold a Job Fair on Oct. 19 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. in the Auditorium at Town Hall at 54 Marion Road.

During the fair the Town Clerk will be accepting applications for a part-time positions of Election Poll Inspectors (checkers) to work during Town, State and Federal Elections only. The hourly rate of pay is $12.00.

Summary of Essential Job Duties: The Election Poll Inspectors’ main duties are to check in voters. The inspectors will work under the direct supervision of the Warden.

Requirements: Applicants must have strong interpersonal skills, be detailed oriented and have the ability to stay focused. Additionally, Poll Pads are used for checking in voters. Rudimentary knowledge of Ipads and ENotebooks is helpful. CORI/SORI checks are required.

Employment Applications will be available during the Job Fair. Please bring two (2) forms of identification and checking account information for direct deposit as we will be hiring during the fair.
