Janice L. (Benson) O’Connor, 82, of Wareham, died Sept. 1, 2020 in Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital, Plymouth. She was the widow of the late Daniel F. O’Connor, Jr. and the daughter of the late William and Gertrude (Gerard) Benson.

She was born and raised in Middleboro and lived in Wareham since 1968

Mrs. O’Connor owned and operated Agawam Cranberry Company, Inc. 

She loved her children and grandchildren, going to the gym, exercising, keeping fit and being a cranberry grower.  She and her husband travelled throughout the world and loved visiting Hawaii. 

Survivors include 2 sons, Brian P. O’Connor and his fiance, Sue Ramsay of Wareham and Daniel F. O’Connor, III of Wareham; 7 grandchildren, Dan O’Connor IV, Liam O’Connor, Patrick O’Connor, Siobhan O’Connor, Aiden O’Connor, Gavin O’Connor and Lily Ramsay; 4 great grandchildren,. Alexa O’Connor, Avaeh Richman O’Connor, Kayden DeOlim, and Cillian  O’Connor; several nephews and nieces. 

Her funeral and burial will be private.
