James W. Klimas Sr.

Mar 21, 2021

James W. Klimas Sr. passed away on March 15, 2021, of an unexpected heart attack. He joins his son-in-law Kurt Rieschick, Jr., his mother-in-law Genevieve “Bunny” and his father-in-law Gregory “Nap” Napolitano, his brother-in-law Tim, his loving Aunt Gloria and Uncle Wally, and his beloved wife Gilda! He leaves behind his son James Jr. and his wife Laura, his grandchildren James III, Carli, Loreah, and Samantha, and his son David.

He was an avid golfer, fisherman, hunter, and sportsman. He loved being a father, grandfather, and husband. He was a boy-scout leader and a hockey coach to Jimmy and David. Dad always made Jimmy and David kiss him when he dropped them off at Xaverian Brothers High School —  he always said do not be embarrassed in front of your friends... we didn’t quite understand then, however, we really understand now. He was a Buick dealer and entrepreneur owning several businesses over the years. He spent time between Wareham, and Palm Coast, FL. He grew up in Walpole, where he met his wife Gilda at the town swimming pool at age 14 years old. He was a football and baseball star!

He is also survived by his sister Donna, brother Robert, sister-in-law Mary, brother-in-law Joseph, sister-in-law Patricia, nephews and nieces Jimmy, Wayne, Timmy, Janine, Kristin, Joey, Lauren, Tommy, Paul, Jamie, and Jill. He enjoyed his golf every day with Mitch, Dale, and Danny, and, he enjoyed golfing with his son—  his wingman!  He also enjoyed his companion Jane after Gilda passed away —  Jane is a WONDERFUL person! Deep down inside his best friends were his wife Gilda and his sons Jim and David! He is now with his girlfriend and most cherished wife Gilda!
