Ida Rita (Pina) St. Germaine, 90, of West Wareham, died July 30, 2020 at home. She was the wife of James L. St. Germaine and the daughter of the late Louis and Eugenia (Pinto) Pina. 

She was born in Providence, RI, and lived in Taunton and then in Wareham for most of her life. She graduated from Wareham High School, class of 1948. 

Mrs. St. Germaine was an office manager of the Probation Department for the 4th District Court in West Wareham for 31 years before retiring. 

Mrs. St. Germaine was a communicant of St. Patrick’s Church. She enjoyed cooking, baking and the monthly luncheons with her high school classmates. She was an avid Red Sox fan.

Survivors include her husband, James L. St. Germaine of West Wareham; 2 sons, Richard St. Germaine and Randy St. Germaine both of West Wareham; 3 daughters, Aldonna LaMarche of Monument Beach and her husband Robert, Diane Barry and her husband John of Mansfield and Rita St. Germaine of Marion; a sister, Laura Coutier of Woonsocket, RI; 19 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; a great great granddaughter. She was the mother of the late Roger Perry and is survived by his wife Nancy Perry.

Visiting hours are from 4 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, August 4, 2020 at the Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 2599 Cranberry Hwy., Wareham. (appropriate COVID-19 protocol will be observed including the use of face masks, social distancing and expect long wait times in line due to temporary limited capacity).

Her funeral is being held privately.
