WAREHAM – Hope Fernandes, 55, of West Wareham, passed away on October 7, 2022, at home while surrounded by her loving family. She was the daughter of Mary G. (Vasconcelos) Fernandes and the late Gerald A. Fernandes, Sr.

She was born in Wareham and lived there her whole life. She graduated from Wareham High School and attended Baystate College.

She enjoyed sports, painting and ceramics.

Hope worked as a secretary for Waste Management in Norton for many years.

Survivors include her mother, Mary G. (Vasconcelos) Fernandes of West Wareham; 2 sons, Sidney Singletary and Clifton Singletary, Jr. both of West Wareham; a brother, Rev. Gerald A. Fernandes, Jr. and his wife Denise of West Wareham; a sister, Kelly Sinclair and her husband Paul of Dorchester; her nephews and nieces, Tyana Fernandes, Kristina Berger, Michaela Almeida, Jessica Bubb, Cedric Lopes, Maalik Sinclair and Sierra Sinclair. Also survived by great nephews and great nieces.

Her services will be private. Arrangements are by Chapman Funerals & Cremations – WAREHAM, 2599 Cranberry Hwy., Wareham.
