Take a hike around the Maple Springs Wildlife Management Area from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Enjoy open water and landscapes around cranberry bogs and into the forested edges. Potential wildlife viewings include osprey, bald eagles, great blue heron, and tree swallows.

Participants should wear sturdy footwear and bring plenty of water. Long pants with high socks are recommended for tick and poison ivy protection. Dogs are welcome, but must be kept on-leash. Kids of age 12 and older can attend.

Participants will meet at 290 Glen Charlie Rd., East Wareham.

Parking: From Glen Charlie Rd., pull into Agawam Rd. at the Maple Park Campground Sign. There is a small parking area to the left on Agawam Rd. If you get to the campground, you've gone too far.

The event is free but participants must register for the event through this link
