Harold E. Ketchie, 87, of W. Wareham, died Saturday, December 25, 2021, at his home. He was the husband of Natalie (Medeiros) Ketchie.

Born in New Bedford, he was the son of the late Emma (Albert) Costa and Harold Ketchie.

Mr. Ketchie worked as plant manager and sewing machine mechanic for Carousel in New Bedford, then he worked for Talbot’s in Lakeville. He was also a U.S. Army veteran and served during the Korean conflict.

Mr. Ketchie enjoyed riding motorcycles and was a member of the Viking Motorcycle Club in Middleboro.

Survivors include his wife, Natalie Ketchie of W. Wareham; his daughter June M. Nichols and her husband Paul of Acushnet; 7 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister, the late Patricia DaSilva.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit at Chapman Funerals & Cremations, 2599 Cranberry Hwy. (Rt. 28), Wareham on Wed., Dec. 29, 2021, from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Patrick’s Church, High St., Wareham at 10 AM.  Interment will be in St. John’s Cemetery, New Bedford.
