This weekend the Friends of the Wareham Free Library will hold its used book sale for the month of May at the main library, located at 59 Marion Rd.

The sale is scheduled for Thursday, May 20, and Friday, May 21, from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Saturday, May 22 from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Gently used books for all ages and in every genre are available at bargain prices. In addition, this month’s theme is “Books that became Movies,” according to the Friends’ website.

The Friends have established safety rules for the sales. Masks and social distancing will be required, and the number of people allowed inside may be limited. Shoppers are also asked to bring their own bags if possible.

No book donations will be accepted at this time.

All proceeds will support the work of the Friends of the Library.
