The Knights of Columbus Wareham Council #15280 will be hosting a Free-Throw Championship at 1 p.m. on January 12 at the Gleason Family YMCA, 33 Charge Pond Rd.

The competition will be open to boys and girls ages nine to 14. 

All participants will earn a certificate. Winners for each age group will win a medal and move on to the next round in the championships, which will culminate at the state level.

Kids from all towns are welcome with parent permission. Sign-up forms will be available at the event.
