Frederic P. Allen, Sr., 83, of Wareham, died May 23, 2019 in Tobey Hospital, Wareham. He was the husband of Janice E. (Grishey) Allen and the son of the late Frederick C.  and Gertrude (Hanlon) Allen.

He was born in Middleboro where he lived for many years prior to moving and residing in Wareham. He was a Marine Corps Veteran of the Korean War.

Mr. Allen worked as an Electrician for many years. He retired from Uni-First in Quincy.

Mr. Allen (Fast Freddy) loved to spend his time at the local casinos in Massachusetts and Rhode Island and enjoy spending a lot of time fishing on the Cape Cod Canal.

Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Janice E. (Grishey) Allen; 3 sons, Frederic P. Allen, Jr. and his wife, Dawn of Rochester, Bruce E. Allen and his wife, Lori of Sandwich and Jeffrey S. Allen and his wife Lisa of Wareham; 4 grandchildren, Caitlyn, Christianna, Nicole and Mariah and his dog Lilly.

His services will be private.  Arrangements are by the Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 2599 Cranberry Hwy., Wareham.
