The First Congregational Church of Wareham will host a free dinner for families with children on Sunday, Dec. 1, from 5 to 7 p.m. 

All are invited to the dinner, which will be followed by a Christmas story, crafts, and caroling, all led by Kristin Putney, the faith formation program director of Saugus’ United Church of Christ.
