Although many events and places have been shut down temporarily due to the coronavirus, the Wareham Land Trust properties remain open to the public. The organization has also challenged the community to a friendly game of “Backyard Bingo” to give people an opportunity to get out of their homes. 

The Wareham Land Trust has a number of properties around town that offer the public a chance to hike through scenic trails, or take to the water in canoes and kayaks. Click here for a directory.

During this time, visitors to the land trust properties are encouraged to limit their contact with others and practice good hygiene to avoid contracting or spreading coronavirus.

For those who are looking for something to do with their kids while they are home from school, or simply enjoy nature, the land trust has devised a game where participants can look for things like birds, growing plants, and lady bugs to fill out a nature-themed bingo card.

While the trails remain open, all remaining Wareham Land Trust events for the month of March have been canceled.
