Eric Richard ‘Dick’ Hedin of West Wareham passed away at age 93 at home after a long illness. Born in Brockton, Mass., son of the late Eric W. Hedin and Mary (Pratt) Hedin. 

Predeceased by ex-wife Norma Jean (Sears) Hedin.

He worked for many years at King Size in Brockton, and later for the Mass Parks Department as a maintenance man. He was an Ocean Spray Cranberry grower.

He loved wooden boats and his golden retriever.

Survived by good friends Ron and Claire Belrose of Rochester, niece Sara Mann of Fall River, Richie and Karen Carifoly of Sagamore, his main caregiver Tammy Patrick of Rochester. 

A celebration of his life will be held June 13 at 2 p.m. at his property, 17 Papermill Road in West Wareham. All that knew him are invited to attend.
