WAREHAM – Donald A. Bronk, 75, of Wareham passed away at home on Feb. 22, 2023. He was the husband of Donna (Smith) Bronk and the son of the late Edwin P. and Casimira L. (Orzech) Bronk.He was born in Chicago, IL and lived in Wareham since 1968.  He graduated from St. Fidelis High School in Chicago.  He was a Navy veteran serving in the Vietnam era.

Mr. Bronk was a self employed contractor in the area for many years.

He was a member of the Wareham-New Bedford Lodge of Elks.  He enjoyed golfing, snowmobiling, fishing, trips to New Hampshire, Florida and the casino. 

Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Donna (Smith) Bronk; his children, Thomas Bronk and his wife, Tammy of Wareham, Timothy Bronk of Rochester, and Cassie Bronk Whitney and her fiance, Rory Rose, Jr. of Wareham; his brothers, Edwin Bronk of IL and Michael Bronk of Myrtle Beach, SC; his grandchildren, Robert Scully, Craig, Scully, Taylor Bronk, Mariah Whitney, Brian K. Whitney, Jr., and Michael Whitney; 3 great grandchildren. He was the brother of the late James Bronk, Barbara Nettin, Thomas Bronk, and Gerome Bronk.

Visiting hours are from 4 to 7 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 27, 2023 at Chapman Funerals & Cremations – WAREHAM, 2599 Cranberry Hwy., Wareham. 

His funeral will be held at 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 28, 2023 from the funeral home followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00 a .m. in St. Patrick’s Church, 94 High St., Wareham. Burial will follow in Agawam Cemetery.
