Dolores M. Perry, “Dee”, 89, of North Falmouth, passed away peacefully at Royal Megansett Nusring Home on April 3, 2022. She was the beloved wife of the late Donald “Rip” Perry.

Dee graduated from Wareham High School in 1950. She then went on to graduate from St. Annes Nursing School in Fall River, MA, in 1953. She passionately worked as a registered nurse from then until her retirement in 2003. During those years she worked as an operating room nurse at Tobey and Falmouth Hospitals. She was also head of the pediatrics, a hospital supervisor and lastly served as assistant director of nursing in Naples, FL. 

She and her late husband Donald raised their three daughters in West Falmouth before moving to Florida, where they enjoyed traveling, boating and socializing. She loved quilting and reading. Most of all her greatest interest and passion was being a mother, wife, and nurse. She lived a beautiful and happy life. 

Dolores is survived by her children Jane F. Perry of East Falmouth, Nancy A. Frasier and husband Jefferey of Cataumet, Joan D. Pollitt and husband Stephen of East Falmouth,  her brother Donald L. Dastous and her sisters Roberta Besse, Patricia O’Connor, Joyce Tellier and many nieces and nephews. 

A visitation will be held at Chapman Funerals and Cremation 74 Algonquin Ave (Rte 151) Mashpee on Wednesday, April 6, 2022, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Burial will be held in the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne on Thursday, April 7, 2022, at 12:30 p.m. and visitors should arrive at the cemetery by 12:15 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Dee to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
