The Wareham Democratic Town Committee is hosting a womens sign holding rally on Saturday, Oct. 8.

The rally runs from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Wareham Town Hall, 58 Marion Road. 

“We are marching to demand our politicians and leaders are brave and bold,” wrote the committee. 

“We march to also remind those who do not protect all our freedoms, they can and will be removed on Election Day.”

This rally is part of a larger weekend of rallies and events highlighting women’s issues across the country.

The committee encourages the public to use the hashtags “WomensWave,” and “ProtectOurFreedoms” when posting about the event on social media.
