Deadline for cranberry cooking contest submissions on Nov. 17

The A.D. Makepeace Company, in conjunction with the Cape Cod Cranberry Growers’ Association, Trucchi’s Supermarkets and edible South Shore & South Coast magazine, are seeking entries for the 10th Annual “Make it Better with Cranberries” cooking contest.

Recipes must include a cranberry product: fresh cranberries, cranberry juice, dried cranberries, or prepared cranberry sauce. The contest is open to all ages and skill levels.

First, second and third place prize-winners will be selected in both the adult and student/youth (ages 8 to 16 years old) category. Selected recipes will also be printed in the 2018 Edition of the “Make it Better with Cranberries” cookbook, published by Rock Village Publishing, Middleborough.

Entries must be dropped off on Saturday, Nov. 17 at one of the following locations: Makepeace Farms, 146 Tihonet Road, Wareham from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.; or one of the following Trucchi’s Supermarket locations: Taunton, Middleboro, New Bedford, West Bridgewater, or Abington between 7 a.m. and 2 p.m.
