Christine Strawn Fielding, 84

Christine Strawn Fielding, 84, of Wareham died Sunday, April 10, 2022, at her home unexpectedly. She was the wife of the late Robert J. Fielding.

Born in Wareham, she was the daughter of the late Elmer Merritt Strawn and Florence Stringer Thieman. Mrs. Fielding was a life-long resident of Wareham. She owned and operated a private day care for many years and was a member of the First Congregational Church in Wareham.

She enjoyed gardening and word search puzzles, Hallmark movies and spending time with her family and her grand dogs. Christine also loved playing card games with her girlfriends.

Survivors include her children, Brenda Bouldry and her significant other Michael Credit and Robert Fielding and his significant other Lynette Sullivan all of Wareham, Gina Reynolds of Middleboro, and Kenneth Fielding of Boston; her brothers, Lee Strawn of PA, and William Thieman of MO; her sister, Lou Ann Cuddemi of New Bedford; her grandchildren, Amy, Raymond, Norman, Amanda, Marc, Anthony, Adam and Andrew. Also surviving are 12 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her brothers, the late Phil Strawn and Edwin Strawn, and her grandson, the late Jeffrey Bouldry.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit on Friday, April 15, 2022, at Chapman Funerals & Cremations, 2599 Cranberry Hwy. (Rt. 28), Wareham from 4–7 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Sat., April 16 at 2 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at a later date.
